REACH TEACHERS

Lived-Experience Counselling for Teachers

The task is simple: to care for the people who care for others. We are helping teachers restore balance, prevent burnout, and rediscover joy in both their work and personal lives.

Professional Care for Those Who Care for the Next Generation

Partnership with REACH

The REACH Program, in partnership with Restored Image Counselling (R.I.C.), provides free or low-cost counselling led by professionals who understand both the classroom and the calling behind it.

About the Reach Program Partnership

The REACH Program exists to make professional counselling accessible to educators across BC and expanding into the rest of Canada. Funded by REACH Canada, this initiative partners with Restored Image Counselling to connect teachers with counsellors who have firsthand classroom experience.

Every session is led by a trained, registered clinical counsellor, many of whom are former teachers themselves. They provide both empathy and expertise to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.

Through this partnership, qualifying teachers can access counselling at no cost by providing valid proof of employment or certification. For those outside of partnered schools, low-cost options remain available to ensure every educator receives the support they deserve.

Book a Session

Accessing support through the REACH Program is easy and completely confidential.
Follow the three steps below to connect with a counsellor who understands the classroom, your challenges, and your journey toward balance.

Step 1

CHOOSE A COUNSELLOR

Select a counsellor who is part of the REACH Teachers Program. Each one has lived experience in education and specialized training in teacher wellbeing. Browse profiles to find someone who aligns with your goals, approach, and preferred meeting format.

Step 2

SESSION TYPE, DATE & TIME

Once you’ve chosen your counsellor, select the type of session that works best for you (in-person, virtual, or on-site at a participating school). Pick your preferred date and time, and your spot will be reserved instantly through the JaneApp booking system.

SELECT YOUR SESSION TYPE

LOOKING FOR A SESSION ON-SITE?

On-site sessions may be available if your school or institution is partnered with the REACH Program. After booking your in-person session, please message your counsellor through JaneApp to confirm on-site availability for your session.

Step 3

CREATE YOUR PROFILE

To confirm your booking, you’ll be prompted to create a JaneApp profile. This allows your counsellor to securely share intake forms, session notes, and follow-up resources. Once complete, you’ll receive your confirmation email and any next steps or wellness materials before your first session.

For Educators, By Educators
